Pay Rate:
$28.00/hour - $36.00/hour _**Depending on experience_

Job Summary
Rancho Foods' Pallet Jack & Forklift Technician is responsible for maintaining all power-industrial equipment.

Power-industrial equipment units include electric walkie pallet-jacks, electric rider pallet-jacks, stand-up electric forklifts, and sit-down electric forklifts of various sizes and models.

The responsibilities of the job include, but are not limited to:

evaluating warehouse equipment inspections, diagnosing and troubleshooting issues, performing repairs, and coordinating maintenance of warehouse equipment with appropriate parties.

All maintenance on the equipment should be completed in a timely manner to not disrupt the work flow of the operations.


Essential Functions
Review inspection reports entered by Rancho Foods employees

Run daily incident reports to identify power-industrial equipment repair needs and prioritizing open tickets

Review quarterly preventative maintenance reports provided by manufacturers

Inspect faulty equipment and troubleshoot issues

Ensure unsafe equipment is properly locked-out or tagged-out

Run diagnostics and inspecting all components of equipment identify repair needs while also keeping track and logging all changes

Coordinate further repair or maintenance needs with warehouse, driver, maintenance, and/or manufacturer staff members

Reconcile invoices provided by outside repair services to internal incident system

Ordering necessary parts as well as following up with orders and arrival times.


Job Qualifications
2 years' experience as a forklift and pallet-jack technician

OSHA Certified Machine Operator

Knowledge of both Raymond & Crown electric rider and walkie pallet-jacks

Knowledge of both Raymond & Crown stand-up forklifts of varying sizes

**Ability to speak Spanish is a plus

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate machinery, tools, computers, and/or telephone system.

Lifting of mechanical equipment and parts will be required. This position requires proper bending, squatting, reaching, and lifting techniques.
