Job Overview:


Due to Company growth, we are actively seeking a
Electrical Pole Inspector to join our team in
Long Island, NY.

This is an entry level role with training and career mapping to help you build a career in the utility industry with K&A.


Responsibilities & Duties:

Entry Level Electrical Pole Inspector services include but are not limited to the following:

  • Take picture documentation of existing transmission and distribution poles with provided equipment
  • Verify assets and identification of thirdparty attachments to distribution and transmission pole plants
  • Must be able to achieve and maintain acceptable levels of productivity and quality of work to include inspection of 14 poles per hour or more
  • Works in a team enviornment

Qualifications & Skills:

  • High School Diploma or Degree
  • No prior experience required; training is provided
  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Must maintain a consistence attendance record
  • Applicants should have the knowledge, experience and skills needed to review project plans, specifications, contract enforcement, and applicable technical standards, OSHA, and other regulatory statutes
  • Ability to work on uneven and rugged terrain and in many different elements of weather
  • Must be able to provide own transportation to worksite in Hicksville, NY.
