SUMMARY
The Garden Center Clerk duties include but are not limited to: providing excellent customer service, gaining product knowledge, watering and caring for plants, building displays and merchandising


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drives store sales by ensuring that all customers are acknowledged, customer projects needs are met, and concerns are resolved quickly
  • Knows seasonality, characteristics of product
  • Quality assurance checks of department
  • Proper handling and rotation of product
  • Works within company programs, policies and procedures.
  • Promotes and supports established programs
  • Day to day operational procedures to ensure stock level, inventory, and cleanliness
  • Promotes sales
  • Promotes a safe working and shopping environment
  • Other duties as assigned

No late nights We close at 7pm weekdays and 5pm on the weekends

  • This position may also turn into an opportunity to remain on the team after the garden center role closes_

Job Types:
Part-time, Seasonal


Weekly day range:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

Ability to Relocate:

  • Madison, WI 53716: Relocate before starting work (required)
