    Test Engineer

    JOB SUMMARY FOR TEST ENGINEER:

    • Seeking a Test Engineer for a leading manufacturer.
    • Opportunity to work REMOTELY
    • Offering competitive compensation at $50-55/hour with benefits

    RESPONSIBILITIES FOR TEST ENGINEER:

    • Engage in API and performance testing activities, contribute to test plans and cases for API functionality and performance metrics.
    • Collaborate closely with development and product teams to understand testing requirements.
    • Develop and maintain automated test scripts for API and performance testing.
    • Participate in regression testing to identify and resolve issues.
    • Analyze test results and performance metrics, providing valuable insights to stakeholders.
    • Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in API and performance testing methods.

    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE FOR TEST ENGINEER:

    • Applicants should have 10+ years of experience without a degree or Associates, or 8+ years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree and/or Master's degree.

    SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS FOR TEST ENGINEER:

    • Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies. Demonstrated interest in continuous learning and development in the software testing field.
    • Proven experience in manual and automated software testing, hands-on experience with API testing frameworks like Karate, Postman, or RestAssured, and JMeter for performance testing.
    • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
    • Familiarity with version control systems and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
