    Description

    Summary of Responsibilities:
    We are seeking highly skilled and motivated Electrical Engineers to join our team as 1099 Contractors.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering principles and experience in designing, developing, and testing electrical systems.

    As an integral part of our engineering team, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet our customers' needs.


    Pay:
    $50/hour


    Essential Job Function:
    Design, develop, and test electrical systems and components.
    Conduct Electrical Connector Assessments following FEMA style guidelines.

    Checking and rating electrical connections/connectors for:

    Ease of connection/installation.
    Visibility of the connector/connection.
    Presence of secondary locking mechanisms.
    Additional criteria as specified by OEM.

    Collaborate with mechanical engineers, software engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate electrical systems into larger projects.
    Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to electrical systems during all stages of development.
    Ensure compliance with relevant electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
    Support product manufacturing, including providing technical guidance to production teams.
    Work to a checklist provided by Client for Electrical Connector Assessments.
    Stay updated on advancements in electrical engineering technology and industry best practices.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
    years of experience in electrical engineering roles, preferably in Automotive Industry.
    Proficiency in CAD software for electrical design (e.g., AutoCAD, Altium Designer).
    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
    Knowledge of relevant electrical codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IEC).
    Experience with electrical testing equipment and procedures.
    Familiarity with simulation and modeling software (e.g., MATLAB, Simulink) is a plus.
