At Berkadia, our Loan Closing Specialists plays a critical role in delivering an exceptional and smooth experience for our clients, partners, borrowers and associates.
Berkadia has an immediate opportunity for an experienced professional to join us as a Loan Closing Specialist for our Government-Sponsored Enterprise (GSE) FMAC multi-family housing mortgages.
You will also be responsible for assisting our Loan Closers and helping to coordinate, monitor, and resolve closing and pre-closing issues among multiple platforms including client relations, legal, underwriting, and servicing.
_ We are committed to growing your career, so in this role you will be:_
- Prepare the Berkadia Index Lock Agreement, Berkadia Commitment; ensure all rate lock items are received prior to rate lock
- Rate Lock all Freddie loans; ensure rate lock is perfected and distribute information to all parties including MB, Counsel and Closer
- Assist the Closers in:
- Coordinating commitment, closing, and delivery phases of loans originated to ensure commitment requirements are satisfied within a specified timeframe to enable best execution
- Recording loan and closing information in OmniView, the Company's system of record
- Tracking postclosing documents and coordinate with external counsel and servicing to upload postclosing documents in a timely manner
- Reconciling good faith accounts and various other accounting functions associated with closing
- Administrative duties as assigned to assist the goals of the Company's Closing function.
- Assist and perform Third Party Engagement activities to support the TPE Group.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Core work hours to cover 11:30 am to 8 pm eastern time
