Job Summary:
Responsibilities:
- Analyze project documents and specifications to estimate costs for materials, labor, and equipment
- Prepare accurate and timely cost estimates for construction projects
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather necessary information for estimates
- Review and analyze bids from subcontractors and suppliers
- Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers for competitive pricing
- Utilize software such as Bluebeam and HeavyBid to create detailed estimates
- Monitor project progress to ensure cost control throughout the construction process
- Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers
- Manage ITB's in building connected
Experience:
- Proven experience in construction estimating and cost control
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles
- Proficiency in project management techniques
- Ability to negotiate effectively with subcontractors and suppliers
- Experience using estimating software such as Bluebeam,Building Connected and HeavyBid
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Pay:
$75, $85,000.00 per year
