Responsibilities:

Fabricate, assemble, install, and repair sheet metal products and equipment, such as ductwork, plenums, air devices, louvers and air moving equipment.
Set up and operate fabricating machines, such as shears, brakes, bending rolls, and punch and drill presses to cut, bend, and straighten sheet metal.
Use spot welders, handheld power tools, air hammers and hand tools to assemble duct work and other sheet metal assemblies.
Install duct work and sheet metal assemblies on work site according to blueprints and specifications using hand tools and portable power tools.
Install air moving equipment, such as air handlers, heat pumps, exhaust fans, and unit heaters.
Inspect and test installations for conformance with the project requirements.

Requirements:

Minimum 57 years of verifiable experience with sheet metal work in the Mechanical/HVAC industry;
HS Diploma or its equivalent, and/or trade school;
Must be willing and able to meet all company and customer project entry requirements which may include training, background check, and drug test;
Thorough knowledge of sheet metal blueprints, specifications, and codes;
Understand basic math;
Work skillfully with tools, metals, and machines;
Visualize threedimensional objects from drawings, sketches, or blueprints;
Work within precise limits and standards of accuracy;
Perform a variety of duties which may change often; and rate information using measurable standards.

Expectations:

Ability to work with others and serve as a team player, while being able to work independently with mínimal supervision.
Good communication skills (speaking and actively listening) with coworkers and supervisors.
Be on time to the jobsite each day ready for work.
High attention to detail to avoid reworks and errors.
Recognize safety hazards and risks, participate in onsite safety meetings, and actively participate in a strong safety culture.
