What tasks can you expect?

  • Creation of requirement specifications at vehicle and system level
  • Development of vehicle concepts with consideration of functional safety
  • Design and planning of vehicle functions (electrics, controls, mechanics; iterative development of specifications)
  • System integration in coordination with our safety engineers
  • Coordination with internal and external partners, such as customers, suppliers, and inspectors
  • Interface coordination with other subsystems
  • Management of an electronic subsystem or system component (drive, brake, climate, passenger information, doors, etc.)
  • Management and coordination of activities with system suppliers during integration and validation
  • Documentation of technical solutions
  • Assistance with testing and validation on the vehicle

What qualifications do you bring?

  • Completed degree (FH/Uni), preferably in vehicle engineering, automation engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field
  • Knowledge of rail vehicles and industry-specific standards is desirable
  • Experience with the development process according to EN 50126/128/657/129 or V-model is desirable
