Job Title:
Quality Assurance Specialist

Department:
Retail Banking

Reports To:
VP, Branch Manager

FLSA Status:
Non-Exempt (Hourly)

Summary:
This position is primarily responsible for verification of the accuracy and integrity of customer account documentation. Additional tasks involve collecting records for audit requests and creating/maintaining procedures for internal reference.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Verify the accuracy and integrity of customer account records and documentation.
Work closely with Retail Banking and Compliance.
Maintain accurate and complete records and prepare reports of completed file review and exception items if applicable.
Ensure compliance to Bank procedures and regulatory standards by reviewing all included documentation and Jack Henry account records for accuracy.
Ability to identify issues and communicate effectively with the bankers to resolve exceptions.
Assist Compliance department by preparing documentation for audit samples.
Maintain Bank internal control standards, including timely review of new customer accounts/files.
Ensure operational integrity through compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulations.

Experience: One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficient in
Microsoft Outlook
Microsoft Word
Microsoft Excel
Adobe PDF editing
Knowledge of Jack Henry SilverLake Xperience preferred.
Acute attention to detail.
Ability to use multiple resources to investigate and propose solutions to unique situations.
Willingness to evaluate current processes and propose improvements.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Solid problemsolving skills and the ability to use sound judgment when issues arise.
Highly professional image.
Personal integrity and confidentiality.
