Job Description:


Since the opening of the first Bob's Steak & Chop House in Dallas, Texas, in 1993, the name "Bob's" has been synonymous with a great steakhouse experience.

Building on the reputation we earned at our original Dallas location, Bob's has opened restaurants nationwide that offer the best cuts of meat available.

To achieve the highest quality of personable, good and friendly service, yet never overly familiar. Adhere to all rules, regulations, uniform codes, standards and philosophies of the hotel.

This is a seasonal position with an anticipated start date of May 15, 2024, and an end date of September 15, 2024.

Responsibilities:


  • Servicing all guests in the dining room in every way possible, ensuring the best possible experience in hopes that they will return
  • To comply with attendance and punctuality standards.
  • To comply with uniform standards.
  • To properly set up entire restaurant.
  • To have complete understanding of server standards.
  • To have a complete understanding of the menu.
  • To have a complete understanding of wine service.
  • To have a complete understanding of beverage offerings.
  • To take food and drink orders.
  • To ring orders accurately in POS system.
  • To deliver food and beverage accurately to tables and in a timely manner.
  • Be friendly and helpful with all guests. Use surnames whenever possible.
  • To comply with food handling standards.
  • Run food to all sections of the restaurant and bar.
  • To comply with applicable liquor laws.
  • To complete all assigned duties before checking out and clocking out.
  • Inspecting and manicuring one's station in the restaurant to ensure that it is immaculate in both cleanliness and presentation.
  • Station setup and breakdown/sidework.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the restaurant manager.
  • Shift accounting, printing of reports at the end of the shift and banking out.

Qualifications:

  • Must have previous experience in fine dining restaurant as a food server.
  • Must be able to work all weekends and all holidays.

Necessary Licenses/Certifications:

  • RBS Certification will be required prior to the start of employment.
  • Must complete CA Food Handler's Card training provided upon hire.

The employee must be able to deftly maneuver between tight confines in the bar and pool areas, including on occasionally wet pool deck surfaces, while clearing items and/or carrying trays of food and beverages.

The employee frequently is required to talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to taste or smell. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.


Pay Rate: 16.00/hr + tips
