    Description


    Job DescriptionThe incumbent will coordinate the day-to-day operations of Production personnel within an assigned area and will be responsible for the effective and economical installation, operation and maintenance of gas and water production equipment and facilities.

    This position will report to the Production Superintendent and must have working knowledge of production operations. The incumbent will supervise, direct, and coordinate field hourly employees, non-technical exempt employees, and/or contractors.

    They will be responsible for a small to medium size geographical area, and a narrow breadth of responsibility within their area of responsibility.

    Must be accountable for the results of a team or function's performance.

    Recommends and collaborates with senior management to resolve strategic issues and applies processes and operational policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions; decisions affect mid- to long-term operational results.

    They will be required to frequently interact with functional peer managers and provide leadership and guidance to address department or functional objectives or changes in objectives.

    Responsibilities Maintain compliance with company HSE policies and demonstrate the ability to respond quickly and confidently to safety and environmental events Requires the operation of Company vehicles.

    Must drive safely to and from wells and well sites, maintain a clean driving record and adhere to Company policies.

    Must possess the right and obligation to stop work if unsafe conditions exist.

    Identify opportunities for improvement in production, cost efficiencies, and/or problem areas (i.e., parted rods, electrical issues, chemical use, etc.) and take necessary action Supervise company and contract leave operators including managing schedules and routes to ensure adequate coverage.

    Oversee the activity of contractors performing well service, lease maintenance and work-over operations Monitor pressures on wells, water flow lines, gas sales lines, pumps and injection systems Supervise and aide in construction driven projects such as fusing, excavating, and repairing on well and water infrastructures Responsible for achieving optimal performance of flowing/pumping wells Monitor and maintain set budget limits to help plan for future activity expenses Review oil, gas, and water production Complete and enter daily reports Develop and maintain positive relationships with landowners, agencies, and third-party contractors Provide input and participate in researching candidates, interviewing, and making offer requests for lease operator candidates Aide in training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work for direct reports Personal commitment to inclusion and diversity Other duties as assignedQualificationsSKILLS AND COMPETENCIES Action oriented - Taking on new opportunites and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm Drives results - Consistently achieving results, even under tough circumstances Instills trust - Gaining the confidence and trust of others through honesty, integrity, and authenticity Manages complexity - Making sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems Self-development - Actively seeking new ways to grow and be challenged using both formal and informal development channels Demonstrates excellent communication and abililty to develop relationships with employees and other third-party contractors Demonstrates conflict management skills Willingness to assist or ask for assistance as needed with manager and team member dutiesQUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma, or general education degree (GED)


    Minimum of Five (5) years related experience with field operations Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record Must be able to pass pre-employment background check and drug test.
