JOB SUMMARY:
The Neurodiagnostic Technician Trainee Program is an innovative on-the-job training program and will be 9 months in length.
You will learn to perform many tests that diagnose problems with the brain and nervous system, as well as sleep disorders.
As a trainee, you will use state-of-the-art digital equipment to record electrical patterns throughout the brain and nervous system, which result in valuable data needed to diagnose and treat conditions like epilepsy, seizure disorders, strokes, degenerative brain disease, and more.
You will learn to perform procedures on all ages, assist in identifying patient and family learning needs and provide pertinent information to the patient and/or family in a manner that can be easily understood by them.

POSITION SHIFT AND LOCATIONS:
Training will take place Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm at VUMC.
Upon successful completion of the program, trainees will be assigned to work 40 hours per week at one of the VUMC locations.
