    Now Hiring Full Time Accounts Receivable Specialist

    Located in: Fort Lauderdale, Florida

    Pay rate: $18.00-$20.00/Hr

    Schedule: 9:30AM-6:00PM (Monday - Friday, Weekends as needed)

    Job Summary:

    At Hallandale Pharmacy we specialize in personalized compounding to cater to the unique needs of patients. As a 503A designated pharmacy, we uphold the highest standards outlined by USP, ensuring superior quality in every prescription. We are seeking a skilled and proactive Accounts Receivable specialist to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in advancing our mission of revolutionizing pharmaceutical modalities.

    As the Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be maintaining the billing system, generating invoices and account statements, performing account reconciliations, maintaining accounts receivable files and records, and investigating and resolving any irregularities or enquiries. With keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills, you will ensure the smooth and efficient operation with the accounting team, contributing to a positive customer experience across the organization.

    Duties and responsibilities:

    • Maintaining the billing system
    • Generating invoices and account statements
    • Performing account reconciliations
    • Maintaining accounts receivable files and records
    • Producing monthly financial and management reports
    • Investigating and resolving any irregularities or enquiries
    • Assisting in general financial management and analysis
    • Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times.
    • Acknowledging and resolving customer complaints.
    • Knowing our products inside and out so that you can answer questions.

    Skills & Abilities:

    • Ability to cope with varied levels of workload and multiple tasks.
    • Must be able to work in a fast-paced and changing environment.
    • Accurate data entry skills
    • Strong time management and organizational skills
    • Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing
    • Able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
    • Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measurement; this may include using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals and be able to compute rate, ratio, and percentage.

    Education & EXPERIENCE:

    • High school diploma or GED required.
    • One year of pharmacy experience or healthcare related experience preferred.
    • Experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc)

    Physical Requirements:

    Office or other indoor work with minimal physical demands such as occasionally lifting/moving materials less than 25 pounds.
