JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a member of our Business Services Department, lead procurement and accounts payable efforts for the Agency. This position includes the following responsibilities.
- Daytoday procurement processes, ensuring that CESA #1 receives the right products, at the right time and right cost.
- Builds and maintains vendor relationships in order to acquire the best competitive pricing, analyzes supplier performance, and develops a preferred vendor list.
- Manage vendor information in Skyward to set up punch out integration when appropriate.
- Place orders with vendors from approved purchase orders.
- Process employee expense reports, including verification of receipts, coding, and compliance with policies.
- Reviews new purchase orders, delivery of items, and printing of purchase orders to ensure accurate ordering of needed goods and services
- Maintain purchase order procedures and records to ensure timely and costeffective purchasing and proper encumbrance of funds.
- Research and reconcile order discrepancies.
- Maintain and review open purchase order reports and follows up to either close purchase orders or request invoices that have not been received.
- Provides customer service to departments for questions on procurement, vendor relationships and ordering procedures
- Ensure compliance with Agency and State purchasing guidelines and regulations
- Prepares analysis and reconciliation of accounts, as required.
- Assists with annual audits and preparing required yearend reports.
- Assists in monthly closings.
- Answers customer inquiries regarding invoices.
- Assists coworkers as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate's Degree or equivalent from twoyear college or technical school, minimum 3 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Strong knowledge of procurement and purchasing processes and procedures, as well as basic accounting principles and accounts payable.
- Ability to effectively plan and organize.
- High attention and commitment to accuracy.

- Highly collaborative, working with others to achieve a common goal in a way that promotes representation and participation by all.

- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and knowledge of full Google Apps Suite desired.
