- Design, write and deliver Infrastructure as Code software to improve the availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency of the network
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for Cloud Native development
- Build automated DevOps pipelines using tools such as GitLab and Azure DevOps
- Develop jobs for the deployment of various artifacts that constitute an application on a container-based environment such as Docker
- Participate in development of advanced CI / CD processes to support deployments
- Participate in design and architecture discussions and build environments using Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and configuration management tools like Ansible
- Work extensively to deploy applications on Kubernetes clusters in our on-premises cloud environment
- Automate repetitive tasks to eliminate toil and drive consistency + repeatability
- Actively participate in incident response and root-cause analysis, support a blameless post-mortems culture
- Must hold an active Top Secret clearance, and be eligible to obtain a Top Secret/SCI with Poly clearance
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Engineering (BS) plus 5+ Years relevant experience
- Experience working in a DevSecOps culture and supporting teams for Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) of containerized applications and automate orchestration using Kubernetes.
- Understanding of AWS cloud services
- Software development experience (Python, C++, PHP, etc)
- Experience working with appropriate scripting languages and operating systems software (e.g., PowerShell, Bash)
- Basic understanding of scripting & software development packages for development of Infrastructure as Code
- Experience with Ansible, Terraform or equivalent configuration management tools
- Experience with Docker and container orchestration/management tools
- Experience with container management and troubleshooting.
- Experience deploying enterprise scale applications to production using cloud-based infrastructure
- Should have flexibility in approach to finding solutions, ability to understand and act on the customer needs and priorities, and ability to learn new technologies quickly
- Strong team building skills that enable collaboration and coordination within and across teams and functions
- Ability to automate menial tasks
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Active Top Secret/SCI with Poly clearance
- Security+ 8570 certification
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
- Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)
- AWS or similar Cloud Provider Experience
- Solid understanding of Message Service NATS, Kafka, Redis

Job Description We are seeking a DevOps Engineer for our Data & Analytics Solutions Engineering Group that will focus on building and maintaining the Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure used to support large intelligence system development, testing and deployment to customer cloud environments. This individual will work on developing the automated pipelines for cloud environments as well as providing consulting services to application and infrastructure teams specific to automated build, test and release automation. This role will be responsible for the operations and operating environment for the DevOps platforms and will drive troubleshooting efforts around incidents and outages.As a DevOps Engineer you will have hands on experiences with developer productivity, cloud native applications, and container orchestration. You will have a direct role in providing infrastructure services to our development environment while also playing a role as a subject matter expert helping Electronic System Defense Programs architect and adopt cloud native development. You will need to understand micro-service architecture, container development, orchestration, service messages and security.

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
