- Infrastructure Automation: Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions using Azure ARM and Azure DevOps pipelines to automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes.
- Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
- Monitoring and Alerting: Develop and maintain monitoring and alerting solutions to ensure the health, performance, and availability of our systems and applications, leveraging tools such as Boomerang, Grafana, or similar technologies.
- Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA). Conduct regular security assessments and audits and collaborate with the development team to remediate vulnerabilities.
- Collaboration and Documentation: Work closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, provide technical guidance, and foster a culture of knowledge sharing. Document processes, configurations, and best practices in the QMS system.
- Performance Optimization: Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize system performance through tuning, capacity planning, and infrastructure scaling.
- Security and Infrastructure Questionnaires: You will work on responses to audit findings and RFP questionnaires related to system architecture, infrastructure and security.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role, with a strong background in software development and operations.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or Ruby.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, specifically Microsoft Azure.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Attention to detail and meticulousness in documentation of processes and procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively without continuous supervision.
- Certification in relevant technologies.
- Experience with configuration management tools.
- Knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
- Familiarity with microservices architecture.
- Understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
- Basic understanding of the SQL databases and ability to write SQL scripts is a plus.
