We are a pharmaceutical company located in Elwood, NJ and we are seeking a Senior Consolidation Accountant (M/F/d) (ger. Konzenbuchhalter) to join our team in Berlin.

Reporting to the Director of Accounting and Tax, the Senior Consolidation Accountant will be responsible for delivering statutory accounts and group consolidation, managing external financial audits, and providing accounting support to the Finance team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing monthly statutory and consolidated accounts, as well as yearly closure
  • Managing external financial audits
  • Performing daytoday accounting tasks, with a focus on group consolidation and intercompany transactions
  • Reconciling main asset and liability items, as well as subledgers
  • Supporting the implementation of transfer price policy reconciliations
  • Ensuring compliance with internal procedures and processes
  • Assisting with the preparation of VAT and CIT declarations
  • Providing data for management accounting
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Finance or Accounting and at least 5 years of relevant accounting experience, with a strong background in group consolidation
