Description
AV Install Technician position will report directly to the Installation Manager or Project Manager. Will also be responsible to successfully complete equipment installation, programming, and provide technical support. Must Have a can do attitude and work well with others


Level 1 AV Technician
Tasks including rack assembly, equipment installation, system cabling and termination are to be performed in accordance with system diagrams and Walt's standards, both in-house and on-site

Regularly completes assigned tasks in a safe, clean, and organized manner within the budgeted time while meeting or exceeding quality standards established by Walt's

Assist with testing of AVL system components to assure systems are complete and ready for commissioning

Maintain assigned inventory against loss or damage.

General knowledge of construction & AV industry

Ability to read equipment manuals, schematic diagrams, and building drawings

Provide any other support to ensure Walt's operates up to standards on a daily basis


Level 2 AV Technician (All of the Level 1 responsibilities plus: )

Lead 1-3 technicians in completing small to mid-level projects and/or act as a site foreman during certain stages of larger projects

Proficient in the structured cabling of projects including pulling, terminating and testing AVL cabling

Commission, support, and provide training to clients on small to mid level AVL systems

Independently troubleshoot AVL systems as needed by tech support lead

Document project changes and communicate back to project management

Competently document and communicate project changes and project status reports to project management on a daily basis

Pay:
$ $30.00 per hour DOE
