Project Lifecycle Leadership:
- Leads efforts throughout project lifecycle to understand, plan, and drive IT initiatives tied to business strategies with specific business outcomes
- Coordinates multidisciplinary business resources in accordance with schedules
- Work closely with business systems analysts, delivery managers and end users to determine the best IT solution
- Accountable for project deadlines/schedules, scope and budgets
- Assesses change readiness and prepares plans for helping business stakeholders through change and adoption
- Facilitates the change management process required to reach project goals
- Creates project artifacts and delivers reporting (project and/or sprint plans, status reports, stakeholder analysis, issues, risks and mitigation, training documentation, etc.)
- Owns and drives issues to resolution and works to mitigates project risks, throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensures appropriate transition from projectmode to steadystate with business and IT teams
- In conjunction with the project team and sponsor, conduct postproject evaluations
- Communicates to stakeholders through various methods including but not limited to meeting minutes with action items, steering committee presentations, IT governance forums and tools
- Manages vendor relationships associated with initiatives, assuring deliverables are met per contract specifications, and budgets are tightly managed, throughout a project lifecycle
- Contributes to and participates in quarterly planning and roadmap maintenance for portfolio
- Follows agile and hybrid waterfall methodologies to deliver incremental value to stakeholders
Business Engagement:
- Engages with business stakeholders to assess initiatives that drive business outcomes related to business strategies or environments
- Develops thorough understanding of business outcomes expected from initiatives, ensures delivery of expected outcomes
- Develops thorough understanding of business processes, participates in initial process documentation or process modification as required with process experts and delivery teams
- Gather relevant industry data on solutions, KPI's and metrics
- Facilitate request for information (RFI) and/or request for proposal (RFP) process for initiatives with business and IT teams, facilitate selection of the right solution to achieve business outcomes
- Produce relevant metrics that highlight value delivered
Skills You Bring:
(Required Skills)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business Administration discipline or equivalent work experience, required
- 5+years' experience in project management, following industry standard practices along with certification (PMI-PMP, Prince, SAFe, etc.)
- 4+ years of progressive experience in software development and/or technical project management
- 4+ years using project management software tools and methodologies (waterfall, agile, hybrid)
- Demonstrated ability to consistently complete projects according to outlined scope, budget and timeline
- Excellent communication, organization, timemanagement and leadership skills
- Strong consulting skills; Customeroriented approach in managing communications, issues and risks
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities, with a keen attention to detail
- Ability to efficiently manage time and keep track of multiple schedules, meetings, and initiatives
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities and work well under pressure
- High level of initiative and ownership, bold and confident attitude towards challenges; Demonstrated leadership skills
- Proficiency in Office Productivity Tools, Microsoft Office 365 and Visio
- High performance orientation, selfmotivated and focused on continuous improvement
- Understanding of Service Now, Jira or other projectspecific tracking tools
- Language required: Fluent in English
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working in a multinational hightech company
Supervisory Scope:
- This position has no supervisory responsibilities
Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
- This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, scanners, etc.
- Some travel may be required
Compensation and Benefits:
Salary Pay Range:
$78,400 - $145,600 per year. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law. At MKS, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role.
