Batch Plant Operator 2

Concrete pipe factory, Rinker Materials, seeks highly motivated individual to join our team. Great compensation for experienced high performers. The Batch Plant Operator 2 is responsible for learning and performing all the duties necessary to run and maintain our automated concrete batching system including filling in for the experienced Batch Plant Operator during vacations.

Daily duties include keeping sand and stone supplied to the plant. Estimating material needs and place orders of raw material. Operating a large rubber tire loader with 3-yard bucket. Running up materials. Receiving trucks and directing truckdrivers on where to dump. Operating computer system and responding to alarms. Pressure washing mixers and shoveling up spillage from conveyors. Performing routine and preventative maintenance on mixers and conveyors. This position has a 5:45 AM start time that begins with a crew meeting. We work 10-hour days Monday-Friday in the busy season and 4 10-hour days in winter.

Requirements:

- strong communication skills
- heavy equipment experience
- mechanical aptitude and maintenance experience
- ability to maintain equipment
- ability to interface with computer and troubleshoot alarms
- physical ability to perform functions of the job
