- Report to the Senior Director of Operations and collaborate with senior leadership
- Manage full-time and potentially part-time staff members
- Design, implement, and manage the Afterschool Tech Club and AmeriCorps Programs
- Develop internal operational systems and ensure effective program roll-out and evaluation
- Contribute to grant writing and maintain relationships with funders
- Recruit, hire, and supervise staff members
- Create and maintain a list of potential school partners for expansion
- Implement projects to increase program capacity and community impact
- Lead program staff meetings and oversee program planning and implementation
- Provide supervision and coaching for staff and evaluate program effectiveness
- Partner with President and CEO on advocacy and policy work
- Oversee community-driven campaigns and collaborate with external partners
- Represent Kids in Tech at events and engage with school leaders and partners
- Work with partners to secure resources for the community
- Prior AmeriCorps service/experience preferred
- Passion for working with youth and commitment to equity
- Strong people management and organizational skills
- Versatility, flexibility, and ability to build trusting relationships
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel & Google Applications
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in education or related field

About Kids in Tech
Kids in Tech aims to excite, educate, and empower children to acquire skills and confidence in technology through interactive after-school programs, fostering future leaders of the 21st Century innovation economy.
Our programs, based in Lowell and Boston, MA, serve up to 360 children from Boston Public Schools & Lowell Public Schools, increasing STEAM skills for students in the community.
About The Role
As the Program Director, you'll play a vital role in developing strategies to support the growth of our program and participants, creating a strong operational foundation and managing program initiatives and partners.
