This role will be located at one of Discovery Land Company's locations: Driftwood Golf and Ranch Club, set outside of Austin, Texas.

Driftwood Golf and Ranch Club is seeking a Security Officer to join the Security Department.


Responsibilities:


  • Maintaining a safe residential and working environment for all members, guests and employees by identifying, treating, and reducing workplace risks.
  • Providing a seemly entry for all authorized individuals into property.
  • Preventing unauthorized access to the property and use of its facilities.
  • Providing a medical response capability to members, guests and employees while on club property, or engaged in any clubfacilitated activity at any other geographic location in and around the property.
  • Providing a fire response capability to all structures inside the community.
  • Providing emergency management advice in the event of a natural disaster event
  • Adhere to all company service and operating standards.
  • Remain in compliance with local, state and federal regulations.
  • Enforce the club's health and safety policies to all members, guests, and employees.
  • Maintaining the personal "concierge" security approach for all members, guests, and employees while on property.


Additional Requirements- Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to deliver service to members, guests, and team members.- Must be able to work flexible work hours/schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Long hours may be required due to business demands.- Ability to work in a team environment.- Ability to stay calm and focused during the busiest of times.- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; additional languages preferred.- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position including, but not limited to, working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, standing, walking, and moving for periods of greater than eight (8) hours, and lifting and carrying items sometimes greater than fifty (50) pounds.
