The Role:
We are seeking a motivated Business Development Consultant (Payments/ FinTech) to deliver exceptional customer service as you guide businesses of all sizes through our setup process for all sales channels such as Acquiring, Ecommerce, Unattended and Eftpos products.
Business hours are from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Monday to Friday. We currently follow a hybrid work policy offering 2 work-from-home days.
Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Developing and qualifying sales inquiries
- Cold calling or meeting with customers to generate new business
- Growing existing customer portfolios
- Providing industry expertise, supporting growth within customer businesses
- Understand, assist, and collaborate with crossfunctional teams; including Marketing and Business Development, Applications Engineering, Logistics, and Technical Support
- Reporting for market insights, key accomplishments, and key metrics
- Identify opportunities for improvement
About You:
With great written and verbal communication skills you are confident, outgoing, resilient, curious, goal driven, and a quick learner.

To be successful in this role, you will need:- Proven sales record and good network of B2B and B2C contacts
- Organizational skills and flexibility to both manage field sales and working with the internal team
- Good communication and relationshipbuilding skills to build trust and connection
- Good territory management experience and will be key to be able to cover a large area
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt their style to the market audience
- Previous experience in Merchant Services highly encouraged
- Point of Sale hardware experience strongly preferred but not required
Estimated salary range will range from $80-$100k(Base+OTE) per annum.
