- $ $44.91 Dependent on experience may vary outside this range
- Additional $2.00 - $4.00 an hour for weekend and night shifts
- 10% differential on top of base pay
- Monitors vital signs, administers medications, including intravenous medications, and develops patient care plans in conjunction with physicians and other members of the care team.
- Provides support to patients including bandage maintenance, pain management, and ensuring patients receive adequate rest, fluids and nutrients.
- Observes patients' progress, records observations in patient medical records, and updates attending physicians directly when necessary.
- Provides patient education and advocates for patients as necessary.
- The RN assists in the maintenance of health and the prevention or management of illness, injury and disability.
- Performs a variety of tasks and other duties as assigned.
- Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing.
- Valid registration as a Registered Nurse in the State of Colorado required. A temporary permit issued by the Board of Nursing will be accepted until a permanent license is received if awaiting reciprocity.
- Must have current BLS card upon hire.
- Position also requires ACLS, PALS or ENPC certification within 6 months of initial employment.
- All required certifications must maintain current status throughout GRHD employment.
- One year or more professional nursing experience in a patient care setting.
