Job Title:
Specimen Accessioner

Location: 1300 East Touhy Ave Des Plaines IL 60018

Duration: 6 Months

Shift: 2nd Shift (2 pm to 10:30pm)

Rate:
$ 23/Hr.


Description

  • Receive and open specimens delivered to the laboratory for analysis.
  • Review and document acceptability of specimen and chain of custody forms
  • Destroy specimens; as needed.
  • Clean and maintain work area daily.
  • Inspect all trash bags once aliquoting process is completed to ensure sample and document removal.
  • Process Triage request.
  • Assist Sample Handling area.
  • Prepare samples for shipment.
  • Adhere to all security procedures for ensuring confidentiality of donor information.
  • Must comply with company policy.

Job Type:

Pay:
From $22.40 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
