    Reporting To:
    Manufacturing ManagerDescriptionAutomation Engineer in PLASTIC INJECTION MOLDING/AUTOMOTIVEResponsible for trouble shooting/continuous improvements on assembly fixtures and other secondary equipment.
    Key Responsibilities1. Perform tooling evaluations on assembly fixtures after each set-up.2. Continuous improvement.3. Represent manufacturing at QPR /Continuous improvement meetings.4. Training of set up operators, foremen and process technicians.5. Lead process team on prototype and sample runs on assembly fixtures.6. Other duties may be assigned.7. Must have the ability to supervise, motivate and coordinate the activities encompassing duties and responsibilities as outlined above.8. Manage and direct personnel as required.9. Follow all safety rules, report safety problems and all injuries, regardless of severity.10. Must have basic knowledge of TS16949 and know the Quality Policy.11. Ensure 5S standard cleanliness of equipment, cell and plant.

    Skills Knowledge and ExpertiseBachelor's degree in Mechatronics/Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering required. One to three years experience in related field desirable.
