We have a great opportunity for a
Purchasing Agent to join our Team Farrel Pomini is a global leader in the research, design and manufacturing of continuous mixing systems for the polymer processing industry.

Farrel Pomini is looking for a
Purchasing Agent that will be responsible for the procurement and management of the supplier base for OEM equipment and machine components and services in alignment with Company cost, delivery, and quality requirements.

• Review and evaluate quotes from vendors.
• Prepare and place accurate purchase orders for goods and services, ensuring that goods and services are purchased within the Company quality standards to conform to specifications of approved requisitions.
• Expedite vendor goods and services as required.
• Receive and investigate supplier discrepancies regarding quality and delivery of purchased material. Take corrective action to resolve any issues.
• Maintain an awareness of market conditions, new sources of goods and services, and identify and evaluate potential new suppliers.
• Resolve discrepancies existing between the purchase order details and the supplier order acknowledgements.
• Maintain procurement records to accurately document supplier lead times, product quality, and overall supplier delivery performance
• Travel to vendor locations on occasion.

• Associate of Science (A.S.) degree or equivalent from a two year college or university is required
• A Manufacturing Technology certification or equivalent is desirable.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, etc.)

• 8 hour shift

• At least Associate of Science Degree or equiv: 2 years (preferred)
• SAP/MRP/ERP systems: 2 years (preferred)
