Hochschule Osnabrück is a foundation university with the status of a building owner according to the Lower Saxony Higher Education Act. It has more than square meters of usable space spread over 111 buildings, 32 of which are listed buildings.

The tasks include, in close coordination with the respective department management, the following focal points, among others, for the areas of building automation, heating, plumbing, refrigeration, compressed air, ventilation technology, and elevator and crane systems:

Assuming project management and building owner tasks in building technology

Managing and accompanying external engineering offices and specialist companies in planning and construction

Independent processing of projects and monitoring of construction services for new, conversion, and expansion buildings as well as maintenance and construction maintenance measures

Conceptualization, planning, and optimization of technical systems

Quality, cost, and deadline control and documentation in projects

Maintenance of technical systems in the database (wave Facilities
