    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    \r

    \r

    \r

    \r

    Infusion RNs assess, plan, evaluate and implement a patient plan of care according to the individual needs of the patient as prescribed by physicians. Infusion RNs j ob responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
    \r

    \r

    \r
      \r
    • Administer infusions via peripherally inserted central catheters such as chemotherapy , hydration, blood and blood components, other drugs, and solutions
      • \r
    • Monitor patients and record any change of condition, notifying physician and/or supervisor when necessary
      • \r
    • Infusion RN educate patients on the procedure and aftercare
      • \r
