Founded in 2016 to capitalize on these technological breakthroughs, we are advancing our novel
_cell+gene_ platform to develop, manufacture, and deliver an entirely new generation of authentic and engineered cell therapies across three therapeutic areas:
neurology, cardiology, and immunology.

What Are We Doing?

Our foundational science harnesses the ability to create and then direct the differentiation of universal pluripotent stem cells into authentic, functional cells that can be used as allogeneic cellular therapies to treat a broad array of diseases.

We can also further engineer these cells, enabling them to produce enzymes, antibodies, and other proteins for additional therapeutic benefit.

The BlueRock (Co-op) 6-months program will include one or more projects in Immunology team in Bluerock Therapeutics, Cambridge, MA.

This is a great opportunity for a talented and self-motivated undergraduate or graduate student to learn and contribute to cutting-edge cellular therapies while gaining valuable career experience in translational Immunology.

Responsibilities:

Participate in the execution of cell phenotyping and immunological assays (Flow Cytometry, Luminex, Legendplex, ELISA, qPCR) to assess cells from multiple functional assays to evaluate the antitumor MOA of our cellbased therapeutics
Participate in the development of new functional assays using primary human immune cells, including T cells, Macrophages & other cell types as required.
Culture, maintain and characterize mammalian cell lines
Analyze, review, and present data within Team and Immunology Goup Meetings
Comply with standard laboratory practices and company policies, including notebook document and biosafety policies.
Maintain scientific curiosity and familiarity with relevant literature and cuttingedge technologies to advance research direction

Minimum Requirements:

Experience with mammalian cell culture is required
Documented strong analytical, communication, presentation, and writing skills.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

Experience in flow cytometry cell immunophenotyping and analysis is preferred

$28 - $28

All Emerging Talent roles are paid $28/hr.
