Location: Position is based in Fort Worth, TX

Reports to: Marketing Manager – Better Together

Summary:

This position will produce social, promotional, and segment content as assigned for social media and digital platform use. Primary responsibility will be the selection and development of content that aligns with the ministry goals, brand voice, and creative vision for the Better Together series and the Better Together Shop. Additionally, this position will be responsible for the creation of online content (optimized per platform) and promotional content (as assigned) with a heavy emphasis on repurposing our broadcast content for use on social media platforms. This position will also assist with the Better Together Marketing Manager in creating posts, monitoring viewer response, reporting, and keeping our web and VOD presence up to date.

Duties:

Repurpose broadcast content to create engaging social media posts specific to each platform
Assist the Marketing Manager and broadcast producing team in the development of short-form content—social media content and promotional content
Oversee post-production for social content and promotional segments
Update our website, , with latest episodes, guest bios, and other content as assigned
Create content schedules, write social media posts, and interview guests as needed
Assist team during production—lock down, runner for guest needs, etc.
Participate in program content development meetings
Assist team during post-production-reviewing program content, logging footage, and adding metadata
Ensure all assignments are completed on schedule
Other duties as assigned

Skills & Experience:

At least 2 years of relevant production experience, social media, short-form TV (news/reality/talk/documentary), and/or promotional content development experience is preferred
At least 2 years of online & on air promotional experience; includes writing, selecting visual elements and editing compelling content to draw new audiences
Passion for creating content for our target audience (Christian women) and optimizing content for social media engagement
Demonstrated ability to adapt to brand voice and ministry style
Must be comfortable working with diverse on-air personalities
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to write clear, concise, compelling copy
Ability to proofread and make corrections in spelling, grammar, punctuation, and style
Expert attention to detail and ability to complete jobs under deadline pressure
Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize and balance multiple assignments
Ability to work well independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Expert proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required
Working knowledge of Microsoft Sharepoint, Dropbox, and Google Docs preferred
Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite preferred
Minimum of Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a related field of study or equivalent experience is preferred
Available to travel as needed

Additional Application Materials Required:

Candidates must submit 2-3 writing samples (attachments or links to online content accepted), a sample of social media posts and/or video content created by the candidate, and provide 2 professional references in addition to a personal reference and a spiritual reference. Candidates will also be required to complete a skills assessment during the interview process.
