Description

For the engineering department in Reken, we are currently looking for a project engineer (m/f/d) to join our team at iglo, a subsidiary of Nomad Foods, the number one frozen food company in Europe.

Our group distributes our award-winning frozen products under brands such as iglo, BirdsEye, Findus, GoodFella's, and more.

With 14 production sites, including two in Germany, we are committed to developing and sustainably producing both classic and innovative vegan products.

Our goal is clear.

Your responsibilities will include:
creating technical concepts, determining necessary investments, expected production costs, and a timeline; implementing approved projects, including supplier selection, cost and progress monitoring, commissioning, and acceptance; conducting experiments (planning and organizing tests, evaluating and documenting results); actively supporting plant goals by identifying potential savings and implementing necessary measures; ensuring workplace safety and product quality through necessary training for process changes and installation of new equipment; continuously updating and improving technical guidelines for the plant

Requirements:
a completed technical degree (mechanical engineering, process engineering, food technology) or equivalent education; several years of experience as a project engineer preferred; ideally, experience in the technical department of a food production company; good project management skills; good computer skills (MS Office, SAP, possibly CAD); good German and English language skills
