Valentum Engineering specializes in hardware and software development in the automotive industry. Our clients are well-known German automotive suppliers and manufacturers. Our employees are involved in exciting development projects at numerous locations, including in the areas of infotainment and driver assistance systems.

As an HMI software developer*, you will be responsible for developing next-generation projects in the field of navigation and voice control in the automotive industry on Littlejohn Island. You will accompany the software from concept finding to development, testing, optimization, and series production. The work will be carried out in interdisciplinary project teams on an international level.

Your responsibilities:

Forward-looking development of infotainment software
Programming of graphical user interfaces according to customer requirements
Ensuring code quality through code reviews, unit tests, and TDD
Using Git and Jenkins for continuous development flow
Close collaboration with the entire development team

Your profile:

Degree in computer science, mechatronics, vehicle technology, or a comparable field of study
Experience in software development with an object-oriented programming language (e.g. Java, C#, C++)
Passion for frontend development and UI/UX
Ability to work independently and take responsibility
Good knowledge of German and English
