    IT Security Engineer (MSP)

    Are you a talented and driven IT Security Engineer (MSP) with a passion for safeguarding digital infrastructure? We have an exciting opportunity for a IT Security Engineer (MSP) to join our team at a client site in Sterling, VA.

    As a SIT Security Engineer (MSP), you will play a pivotal role in implementing security measures to protect information, network infrastructure, and computer systems.

    IT Security Engineer (MSP) Duties:
    Manage MFA platform, Zscaler tenant, and audit security implementations
    Build and maintain lab environments using VMware vCenter and ESXi
    Develop, execute, and monitor security measures to safeguard information, network infrastructure, and computer systems
    Implement security OS hardening using GPOs and scripting
    Identify, define, and document system security requirements and propose solutions to management
    Design comprehensive cybersecurity architecture and devise effective computer security strategies
    Configure, troubleshoot and maintain security software and hardware infrastructure
    Install monitoring software to detect and prevent security breaches and intrusions
    Collaborate in planning, developing, implementing, and updating the company's information security strategy
    Interface with stakeholders to assess, recommend, and implement network solutions in line with business goals
    Identify, analyze, and remediate infrastructure, application, and OS vulnerabilities and compliance issues
    Ability to obtain or currently hold the following certifications is a plus (ITIL Foundation, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Net+, VMware, CCNA and CompTIA Security)

    IT Security Engineer REQUIREMENTS TO BE CONSIDERED:
    Advanced experience with Windows GPO
    Advanced experience with VMware
    Advanced experience with Zscaler
    6+ years of technical experience troubleshooting complex network, system, and end-user support issues
    Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
    ***Currently hold OR be willing and able to obtain 1-3 of the following certifications within a designated timeframe after onboarding: ITIL Foundation, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Net+, CompTIA Security+, CCNA, Azure, MCSE, VMware, CISSP, CEH, Fortinet NSE 4

    IT Security Engineer (MSP) Salary and Benefits:
    Salary $90k-$100k
