    Responsibilities:

    • Answer inquiries regarding patients, clients, and doctor's offices regarding insurance, billing, invoicing, and other concerns
    • Entering data into medical office software using ICD-10 billing and coding
    • Filing insurance claims and adjustments
    • Following up with insurance companies on the back end to follow up and see if the claim has been denied
    • Medical Collections
    • Posting charges/payments(electronic and hard copies)
    • Other general office tasks as assigned
    • Open and maintain customer accounts by recording account information.
    • Maintain financial accounts by processing customer adjustments.
    • Prepares product or service reports by collecting and analyzing customer information.
    Requirements:
    • Spanish - Bilingual is a plus
    • MUST have insurance denials and cash posting experience
    • Must have knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
    • MUST be familiar and proficient with ICD-10 billing and coding software
    • MUST have at least 3 years of experience processing billing and filing insurance claims, appeals, and adjustments
    • MUST have good phone skills
    • MUST be able to follow repetitive process for entering data
    • MUST be a team player and assist medical offices and coworkers when needed
    • Must be able to work Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm
    • Temporary to hire
    Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $ $18.00
