Description
Executive Assistant Responsibilities And Duties
- Act as an adviser to the
CEO and senior management team - Assist the
CEO in facilitating effective decisionmaking - Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- Coordinate the execution of strategic initiatives as directed
- Assess inquiries directed to the
CEO, determine the proper course of action and delegate to the appropriate individual to manage - Ensure all staff issues are addressed properly, efficiently and judiciously, and keep track of progress until resolved
- Organize and coordinate Leadership Team functions, meetings and activities
- Coordinate strategic business initiatives and guide to completion
- Supervise daily operations and help oversee projects of high importance
- Manage company/Leadership Team calendars and ensure deadlines are being met
- Make travel arrangements for Chief Executives
- Work with and/or lead crossfunctional teams
- Be a gobetween for staff, chief executives, department leaders, and
CEO - Assist
CEO with internal communication, meeting with HR leaders and attending to staff needs, ensuring any problems are resolved as needed - Keep
CEO abreast on current company climate (employee wellbeing, project statuses, new proposals etc.) - Work with team leaders and present to senior executives
- Build strong relationships with the Executive Leadership Team and assist with their projects as needed, reporting on progress, noting any issues or successes
- Help coordinate businesswide procedures and work to improve existing processes for maximum clarity, efficiency, and success
- Attend Executive Leadership Team and /or Board Committee meetings on behalf of the
CEO when necessary and deliver progress reports to
CEO - Be able to perform other duties as assigned or requested by supervisor.

Relationships
-
Internal: Maintain contact with the
CEO, all Chief Executives, all staff, administrative personnel, and/or volunteers for the purpose of exchange of information.

External: Maintain effective contact with external donors and committee volunteers, board members, community leaders and anyone that can help the organization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or related field
- 5+ years' experience in leadership/management role
Physical Requirements/Work Environment
- Ability to stand and/or sit for long periods of time.
- Ability to work in various weather conditionshot, cold rainy, etc.
- Ability to move equipment up to 25 pounds.
