Specializing in cardiovascular care comprehensive cancer services and women and childrens services including neonatal intensive care. St. Josephs is the largest hospital as well as the largest private employer in Stockton California.     Responsibilities:

    The Clerkship Administrator will report directly to the Graduate Medical Education Program Manager and work closely with the Clerkship Director to operate and grow the Clerkship program at St. Josephs Medical Center.

    The position is also responsible for coordinating, orienting, onboarding and managing all medical and physician assistant students and their schedules. The Clerkship Administrator is responsible for the coordination of one or more Clerkships including the design, implementation, assessment/evaluation, and management of academic, evaluative, and administrative activities to ensure fulfillment of learning objectives and clinical experiences.

    The Clerkship Administrator must demonstrate the ability to focus on details and deadlines while remaining flexible to respond to the demands and challenges of a busy office. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of the Organization. It is expected that the employee will demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values of the organization.

    Qualifications:

    Education and Experience:

    • 3-5 Years of office administration experience
    • Associate in Arts in a related field required (experience may be accepted in lieu of degree)
    • Office administration experience in a healthcare environment preferred
    • Bachelors of Arts degree in related field preferred

    Licensure:

    • None specified.

    Training:

    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required.
