Our Government Services division manages the TRICARE Overseas Program, providing high-quality healthcare services to U.S. Military service members, family members, retirees, and other eligible beneficiaries living overseas.


About the position:

We are currently seeking a Physician Lead to join our team in Germany, preferably based in the Nuremberg area. This role serves as a liaison between our nursing team, leadership, and medical professionals within the U.S. military forces in Germany, as well as local medical providers. The Physician Lead will facilitate productive communication between all parties to ensure the success of the Near Patient Program.


Responsibilities include:

  • Training other Near Patient Physicians and their subordinates on International SOS, the U.S. Military healthcare system, and the TRICARE Overseas Program (TOP)
  • Educating medical providers on International SOS, the U.S. Military healthcare system, and TOP
  • Providing recurrent education to expeditionary forces medical providers on International SOS, TOP, local medical network capabilities, and Near Patient Program goals
  • Qualified and experienced medical practitioner with knowledge of host nation medical care and understanding of U.S. Military healthcare requirements and beneficiary expectations
  • Strong relationships with medical leadership at medical providers and U.S. military medical professionals (command surgeons, medical planners)
