Description
They will ensure personal professional growth on a yearly basis with a focus on continuous improvement in student learning. This individual will assist in setting up and implementing an Engineering Logistics Warehouse Program.


Major Responsibilities:

Provide learning experiences in Engineering, guided by the CTE Frameworks and district standards and requirements, while creating an environment that is conducive to student learning.

Instruct pupils in the appropriate safety precautions and the safe operation and use of related technology and equipment per OSHA.Set up and implement new technology and systems in the Logistics Engineering Warehouse.

Attend and offer training for new systems.
Be familiar with Logistics and Warehouse operations

Ability to work as part of a team to foster a positive working relationship with students and staff.
Citizenship, residency or work VISA in the United States is required.
Minimum of 2 years teaching experience is preferred, preferably in a vocation-technical education setting.
Electronics, Electronic Controls, and/or Automation experience is preferred.
OSHA 10-hour general construction preferred or willing to become certified.


CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENTEquipment Used:
Copier, SMART Board, phone, computer, fork lift, racking systems, MPS, automated storage and packing systems.

Physical Demands:

Most of the time is spent on your feet working with students while they work in the program areas.

On occasions, you may need to move or lift light articles.

This position may require long periods of standing and lifting up to 50lbs.

The individual may also be required to operate hand tools and motor equipment and may work in confined spaces with exposure to dust, smoke fumes and gases.
