Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Boat Captain to join our team.
The Boat Captain will be in charge of operating and navigating boats, ensuring the safety of passengers and crew, and supervising all aspects of boat operations.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and navigate boats in various water bodies in the NYC area
- Ensure passenger and crew safety at all times
- Maintain and inspect boat equipment, including engines, navigation systems, and safety gear
- Communicate effectively with passengers and crew for information and instructions
- Manage emergency situations calmly and efficiently
- Oversee loading and unloading of passengers and cargo
- Adhere to maritime laws, regulations, and safety standards
Skills:
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot boat issues
- Ability to handle operations in emergency situations
- Excellent leadership skills to manage a crew effectively
