    Business Analyst - Mid Level (Remote)

    Primary Location: Raleigh, North Carolina

    V-Soft Consulting is currently looking for a Business Analyst - Mid Level (Remote) to join their team.

    Education and Experience

    • Prior involvement in state government/public sector projects focused on health and human services programs, like Medicaid, for at least 3 years.
    • Skilled in using project collaboration and tracking tools such as Microsoft Project Suite, MS Teams, Zoom, etc., with 5 years of experience.
    • Demonstrating strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities over 5 years.
    • Hands-on experience as a Business Analyst handling multiple priorities and projects during 5 years.
    • Showing expertise in stakeholder engagement and collaboration, including effective teamwork across different departments, for 4 years.
    • Demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills for 5 years.

    Highly Desirable

    • Past experience with APD, Budget, and/or Medicaid Detailed Budget Summary Table (MDBT) for at least 2 years.

    WHAT YOU'LL DO:

    • Elicit, document, and analyze business needs and processes, translating them into detailed functional specifications for the technical teams.
    • Coordinate meetings with various teams, suppliers, legal, and stakeholders to gather and finalize information for Medicaid Detailed Budget Summary Tables (MDBT).
    • Organize and write assignments in line with agency standards.
    • Collaborate with different business units, project teams, and technology experts to create appropriate MDBTs.
    • Lead review meetings related to Medicaid Detail Budget Summary (MDBT) with key stakeholders.
    • Effectively communicate technical concepts to non-specialized audiences.
    • Deliver findings, suggestions, and project updates to diverse groups.
    • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables with project managers.
    • Stay updated on project progress using tools and templates.
    • Present complex ideas in simple, written form and understand business stakeholder needs and challenges.
