Job Summary and Qualifications:

What you will do in this role:

You will demonstrate clinical proficiency in all areas of respiratory therapy including basic knowledge of bedside assessment, proper use of equipment, and mastery with patient driven protocols.
You will be proficient with common respiratory disease management for adult, pediatric and neonatal patients in acute and alternate care settings.
You will have excellent leadership abilities.
You will demonstrate team work, adaptability, and serve as a resource to the patient care team.

What qualifications you will need:

Graduate of an AMA approved Respiratory Therapy program required. Bachelor of Science degree in Respiratory Care preferred.
Credentialed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in the state of Texas is required.
Minimum of 2 years of supervisory and/or lead experience in a clinical setting preferred.
Current BLS Certification is required.
ACLS, PALS, and NRP are preferred.
