Biomedical Technician II (1099)


Job Description:


ERS Medical is in need of level II and III Biomedical Technicians for full time contract work throughout the Bay Area and Northern Central Valley (East Bay, Oakland/SF, Sacramento, Modesto).

This is a contract 1099 position.


Availability:

  • Must be available between normal working hours ie: 8am 4pm

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining biomedical equipment (CVC, electrical safety testing, repairs)
  • Conducting tests; ensuring compliance to codes; following manufacturer's instructions;
trouble-shooting and repairing; calling for special service; maintaining equipment

inventories; completing test records; equipment sterilization

  • Adjusting; calibrating; testing and documenting equipment performance
  • Writing, reviewing and executing test procedures; documenting test results (records)
  • Maintains biomedical equipment supplies inventory; anticipating needs; managing orders
  • Maintains client/patient/company confidentiality; HIPAA
  • Maintain a safe and organized production/test space

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Must have two or more years performing preventative maintenance, electrical safety and diagnostic/repair services on general biomedical equipment.
  • Associate of Applied Science Degree (Electronic Engineering Technology or Biomedical Engineering Technology or equivalent) or equivalent training required (e.g. military).

$ $45.00 per hour
