    Human Resources Generalist/Recruiter (Manufacturing, On-Site)(Compensation range starts at $60,000+)Luxfer Magtech specializes in developing, manufacturing, and supplying a broad range of products that safeguard and protect, from flameless ration heaters that give our U.S.

    Military a hot meal, innovative chemical response kits designed to detect and decontaminate chemical warfare agents, to nutritious hot food and beverage options for militaries and first responders.


    Position:


    The Human Resources Generalist and Recruiter position is a key member of the HR Team and vital to the department's success.

    This is a true generalist role with exposure to nearly all facets of the human resources functionality, sometimes all in the same day Flexibility and adaptability are a must.


    Main Responsibilities:
    Provide support on a variety of HR topics including talent development, retention, performance management, employee relations, policy interpretation and conflict resolutionSources, recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; leads the hourly recruitment process (direct hire and temporary labor)

    Initiates screenings (background, drug, employment, E-Verify and I-9)Attends and participates in hiring eventsMaintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulationsConduct new hire and temporary labor orientationProcessing of FMLA, terminations, unemployment claims, and employment verificationsAssist in HR Reporting activities by updating regular and ad-hoc reports for the HR ScorecardMaintain and coordinate employee recognition and engagement activitiesConduct exit interviews, analyze data, and make recommendations to the management team for corrective action and continuous improvementHandles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the Senior HR ManagerPrepare new-employee files and maintain accurate employee files related to personal and work status affairsOther duties within competence as requestedDesired SkillsKnowledge of employment-related laws and regulationsExcellent people skills - ability to build positive relationships at all levels of the organizationMaintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalismExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlinesExcellent Microsoft Office including - Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and strong Excel skillsEducation and/or Experience:
