PRIMARY FUNCTION:


Health Care Practice Management was established in 1992 with the aim of building strong relationships with our clients to offer top-notch medical billing services for their practices.

With 46 clients across 22 specialties in DE, PA, MD, and FL, we are on the lookout for a skilled medical biller to help grow our company and elevate HCPM to new heights.

The Medical Billing role involves daily tasks such as ensuring the accurate and timely submission of insurance claims, resolving missing information, investigating denials, pursuing claims, making collections calls, and upholding compliance with department standards, HIPAA regulations, and governing agency policies.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Check insurance documents to address issues
  • Generate and analyze various reports concerning unresolved accounts receivable matters, then take necessary steps to clear any outstanding balances
  • Apply cash to accounts as per client's request or documentation instructions and make cash receipt adjustments
  • Record, store, and manage accounting information in written or electronic form
  • Provide exceptional customer service to the Field Office, Clients, and Carriers
  • Reconcile accounts and follow up on any overdue accounts to achieve a 99% collection rate

  • Willingly take on additional responsibilities
  • Actively participate in departmental and other meetings as required
  • Knowledgeable about company policies
  • Capable of working independently and productively in a remote work environment
