The district town of Itzehoe (approx. inhabitants) is looking for a Forester (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible.

Location: Forest areas of the city of Itzehoe and the district of Steinburg Central meeting point: Municipal Service Itzehoe, Hafenstr. 7 in Itzehoe

Responsibilities: Manual work in the forestry sector

Salary: Pay according to EG 5 TVöD-VKA

Full-time: Seasonal working hours, an average of 39.0 hours per week

Employment duration: Permanent

The city of Itzehoe's forestry operation consists of the forest areas of the city of Itzehoe and the district of Steinburg, with a total size of approximately 500 hectares. The forestry operation is located in the Holsteiner Geest growth district. The sites, shaped by the penultimate ice age, are very variable and small-scale. This makes for a diverse, varied, and interesting forest landscape. Numerous forest meadows break up the forest landscape and make the city forest a popular place for all kinds of forest visitors
