CARE GIVER RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assists clients with personal care tasks, such as mobility, grooming, toileting, showering, and dressing
Provides companionship, dementia supervision, and help with some basic household tasks like laundry, meal prep, and errands
Reports to RN Director of Patient Care Services

CAREGIVER REQUIREMENTS:

Compassionate and caring personality with a servant's heart
1 year of previous professional experience as an in home Caregiver / CNA / HHA or similar (preferred)
Registration on CA Home Care Aide (HCA) prior to first shift. We can show you how.
Valid CPR Certificate and negative TB skin test or chest xray
Valid Driver's License and auto insurance with a reliable vehicle
Ability to perform physical tasks. Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
