SUMMARY:

AIP is looking for a Receptionist for the ACP-DC location at 555 12th street, Washington, DC. This is a 100% onsite role. ACP is a membership organization that includes, AIP, APS and AAPT.


WHAT YOU'LL DO:


  • Cover front reception desk, welcome guests during meetings/events.
  • Inventory and restock pantry supplies.
  • Assistance with meeting logistics.
  • Setup, cleanup, catering support
  • Inventory and restock ACP office supplies.
  • Light spot cleaning. (Dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, etc.)
  • Liaison with building management.
  • Assistance with trouble shooting technology.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:


  • A high school degree is required
  • A minimum of relevant experience is desired.
  • Ability to work well with others, both inside and outside the organization.
  • Ability to multitask, handle multiple assignments and priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with office software and technology tools proficiently.
  • Requires a combination of organization skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.
  • Requires some evening and weekends for selected events.
  • Ability to work with computer software, particularly MS Access, Outlook, Word and Excel.
