Description
Job responsibilities- Greet all patients, process paperwork and insurance information.
- Make certain all copays and balances are collected.
- Chart preparation.
- Cover telephones when needed.
- Appropriately directing calls to provider when necessary
- Schedule portal appointments.
- Schedule fax referral appointments/scan records in EHR.
- Direct all patients to portal for preregistration.
- Monitor and correct schedule for conflict, errors and make sure all open slots are filled.
- Monitor faxes/route documents appropriately.
- Monitor and schedule appointments from Epic Medical Referrals.
- Prior insurance authorization (and insurance referrals as needed) done well in advance of procedure.
- Patient appointment reminders.
- Check out patients, schedule and prior authorize necessary testing.
- Reconcile copays and payments, sending all monies to CFO weekly.
- Report any facility issues to the Director of Operations.
- Travel to other CT ENT sites when required.
- Performs other duties as required
